At Kynren, we are dedicated to ensuring every visitor can enjoy our spectacular performances, regardless of accessibility needs. We are proud to offer a wide range of facilities and support to make the experience enjoyable and accessible for all.
- The main visitor path is DDA-compliant with a fine stone surface. While most areas of the site are easily navigable, some sections feature grass or stone surfaces, and wheelchair users may require assistance from an Essential Companion.
- The main path stretches 450 metres from the Welcome Plaza to the Tribune. Please note that this must be travelled by all visitors, even those parking in our Blue badge Car Park.
- There are some park benches at key locations along the main path, providing rest areas for those who need a break.
- The Tribune opens an hour before performances, allowing early seating. Visitors may freely enter and exit the Tribune before the show begins.
- Accessible toilets are available at key locations, including:
- The Welcome Plaza, adjacent to the Blue Badge Car Park.
- Behind the Tribune, near the seating area.
- Spaces for wheelchair users are reserved at surface level in front of Row A, with a designated seat in Row A directly behind for an Essential Companion.
- Wheelchair users must remain in their wheelchairs throughout the performance in case of emergency.
- Essential Companions must be physically able to assist their companion, particularly in an emergency.
- Visitors who meet qualifying criteria may be entitled to a complimentary Essential Companion ticket. Find out more about Essential Companion Tickets and eligibility here.
Visitors who meet our qualifying criteria are entitled to a complimentary Essential Companion ticket.
Criteria include evidence such as a:
- Front page of DLA or PIP letter (no specific rate required) with eligibility covering your chosen show date.
- Front page of Attendance Allowance (no specific rate required).
- Front page of War Disablement Pension.
- Evidence as registered severely sight impaired (blind).
- Recognised Dog ID card.

There is no booking fee for tickets that include an Essential Companion
For visitors with limited mobility but no Blue Badge, we recommend using the Park & Ride service and the Yellow Car Park as it is a flat-level, hard-standing surface.
All of our shuttle buses are wheelchair-friendly and accessible.
The drop off point for shuttle buses is directly in front of the Welcome Plaza, just a 450-metre walk to Tribune. Please note that there is no onsite drop off point for taxis. For more information regarding taxi arrivals, please click here.
Blue Badge Holders can pre-book a space in Blue Badge Car Park, located adjacent to the Welcome Plaza, with a 450-metre walk to the Tribune.
Please note it is essential to pre-book Blue Badge Parking as there is limited availability.

Assistance dogs are welcome at Kynren but must be booked in advance by contacting us on either 01388 436 030 or at access@kynren.com.
Visitors using push-chairs, walking aids, or wheelchairs can safely and securely store them at the Tribune during the performance.
All our food outlets have large-print menus with allergy information available upon request, and our staff are ready to assist. Please don’t hesitate to ask for help.
Visitors with sensory sensitivities can access designated quiet areas for a break from crowds or noise.
Our staff are trained in disability awareness and evacuation procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of all visitors. Essential Companions must be able to assist with the evacuation of their companion in case of emergency.
